Afro fusion music lord, SOÈY drops a fast-track two-pack EP, “My Dealer|Who’s Calling?”

SOÈY (Akinkunmi Àbíṣọ̀yẹ Adelakun) is a Nigerian Afrobeat artist, visual storyteller, and creator of the emerging ‘Fuj!-Noir’ aesthetic — a dark, vintage-inspired world where music, culture, and emotion collide.

This creative music artist creates a world of Afrofusion contemporary music that is daring, cunty, and innovative. In his bid to create fresh, pulsating music, his mission continues with his two-pack EP, featuring the songs “My Dealer” and “Who’s Calling."

The first track, “My Dealer," a a pop dance battle from the 80s, reimagined in a Yoruba essence. With a scent of mystique wafting through the music, the rhythm carries the feel of a spy on a mission. From the guitar to the drums, everything adds to the mood, making it so electrifying and intriguing.

The second song, “Who’s Calling," is a feel-good anthem, almost psychedelic in nature and might be the coolest thing you’d hear this week! The pace here is different; the music is softer, but the energy is just as enigmatic. The pull of this one comes from many things, particularly its ethereal feminine background vocals, who take their space in the music with a siren effect, boosting the mood to a hundred, a perfect complement to the whole vibe.

SOÈY made magic with these ones, and it’s available now on all streaming platforms!
