     Hey there! It’s another week in June, and it’s reeking with good music! Here are a few of our favs in the week so far!

Shaiboy - Fa Mi Lo

         Last Thursday, Shaiboy stormed the yard with his new Pop/R&B single “Fa Mi Lo”. Fa mi Lo, is simply what you’d call “good music”. This track is incredible, and the first thing that grabs your attention is the beat. The rhythm feels like a recollection of the greatest pop music era, circa 2015. Like a major Lazer feature you know you’re about to fall in love with. “Fa mi Lo” is a song that’s easy to fall into and get wrapped up inside. The vocals are a perfect match as Shaiboy expertly mixes a Nigerian style (language, tone and aura) with a foreign melody, done so well it melts your heart away, keeping it nostalgic and beautiful. Bimz - Ganusi

      Abimbola Ayankoya, known professionally as Bimz, is an Afrobeats artiste and a lover of music. Bimz found his passion in music really early in life, often enraptured by Juju, Fuji and Highlife music growing up. Yet it wasn’t until 2024, that he turned that passion into action by dropping his first single; “OH NO”. This song was the wake up call and turning point for him, as it reminded him that he had no other option than to pursue his passion for music. With the release of his first single, he laid the foundation for a promising career. 

        His unique blend of afrobeats, Fuji, and Juju melodies captured the attention of music lovers globally. As he continues to grow and develop as an artist, there is no doubt that he will continue to captivate audiences with his music and undeniable talent. ELAWizziee - It's Okay

Romi, Brown joel- julie

       Nigerian music is on the route for a fresh dose of creativity, with this rapid-growing artiste, Romi, an artistic singer and songwriter who defies categorization. Last Friday, Romi released his new single “Julie”, featuring Brown Joel.

The Afrobeat amapiano sensation collided with two worthy stars, and the result? It’s so good it’s almost unholy. The song comes in with a hard bounce, revving up the energy from the first note, and the mission here is clear: to get you moving, jumping, and throwing caution to the wind.
