Oseremen Ukanigbe Marvin, professionally known as Mavo, is a 21-year-old Afrobeat sensation from Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria. Mavo has gathered so much mainstream attention and a huge fan base in a short time, first with his breakout debut EP, Ukanigbe, and later on with his hit single ‘Escalidizzy’. Lusanda: Progress

‘Progress’ is the latest enthralling, magnetic, and ethereal music by Lusanda, a soulful South African music artist, who was born in Durban and raised in Johannesburg, steeped in music and movements. Yet, she didn’t always dream of being a singer. From the age of five, she chose dance as her art medium. But in a fated way, she began releasing covers of hit songs on TikTok, adding an R&B spin on other genres of music like pop, rap and Amapiano. Over time, she developed her craft in music, and finally, a spontaneous rendition of Outkast’s ‘Hey Ya’ threw her smack into a world of musical success, garnering millions of views. With the vocals and energy of a proper R&B/soul princess, Lusanda brings floating dreams to your world through music, making people transcend within the shortest time. Her new song ‘Progress’ spares no one and leaves a lasting effect, like a shivering yet relaxing touch of a hand, swiped on a jaw. Make sure to check it out!
