It’s another feisty week in August, and the music world has been hotter than you can imagine.
Kunmie - 22
Starting the day off with something sweet, Kunmie dropped an album of the summer last Friday, called “22”. 22 is an experience of softness. Oladapo - Sugarcane
Friday came with more goodies, and one of them is Oladapo’s sexy new music “Sugarcane”. This track is familiar music yet nothing you’ve ever heard before. The flow on it is smooth and immaculate. With a melody, vocal runs, and crazy background harmonies that will send you into pure ecstasy, Sugarcane is too sweet. WALE ICE - Rhythm & Redemption
Still digging into the bag of goodies from last Friday, WALE ICE, dropped a 2-pack release called “Rhythm & Redemption” featuring tracks; “Waiting” and “Rhythm & Bass”. WALE ICE is a rising artiste from Lagos State, Nigeria, who started his musical journey in 2018 when he dropped his first single ‘Wanting’ , a new kid on the block finding his way in the music world. On Friday he gave us, ‘Rhythm & Bass ’, a groovy Afrobeats/Amapiano party anthem, and ‘Waiting’ a more Afro-Hiphop feel, featuring Midday. Check out “Rhythm and Redemption”.
Liz Perry - Love & Money
After her debut release back in 2020, Liz Perry is sliding back into the music scene with a big bang, on her latest track “Love & Money”. Bigger, better, and hotter, she gives us something new to keep on our lips and stay flowing in our ears. Love & Money, is a smooth sensation that places Love & Money, as a package deal. Serenading it up she shows us an honest desire for the good parts from both sides, reaffirming the day-old statement that ‘love is sweet, when money enters love is sweeter’.
