Filled with deep prayers, hooting birds and a sense of solemnity, Dear Santa is a world of tradition and modernity, from its rhythm to its aura. It is a cross between yoruba authenticity, belief systems and our modern thought processes, of survival, stubbornness and the hustle.
On “Dear Santa”, SOÈY lets us know he’s standing firmly on business, a capital stubborn boy from Bodija, whose stubbornness has given him the strength and confidence to stay firm through anything.
On this track, he features Obedo PF, another effervescent rising star, adding his own layer to the depth-filled music.
