Obedo PF teams up with Vicoka for a soft new single called “Lagos”

Obedo PF is back with something new and something smooth, but this time he’s joined by Vicoka on their new single “Lagos”.
“Lagos” has a real smooth quality to it. With a kick-ass beat that leaves you immersed in its flow, the softness of the music pulls you in and invites you to slow down, to think deeply.
The beat matches the tone and energy so perfectly. Its catchy and upbeat rhythm fuses with an unmistakable gentleness, as Obedo PF and Vicoka softly serenade each verse.
With an intro that hits you straight with introspection, Obedo takes the first verse, beginning with a profound statement and question which says; “Be careful what you pray for because when it happens, tell me would you pray more?” Ultimately, the crux of the music is to drive home that message of staying true to oneself, especially in a city of buzz like Lagos where it's easy to get lost in.
In a sort of silent agreement, the music itself captures/views the power of Lagos from a differing perspective of its usual hustle and bustle.
It helps Obedo center the citizens beyond the city, the navigators, and survivors. It gives this feel of standing in the midst of all the rush and buzz, taking it all in, trying not to get swept under.
Vicoka, takes the next verse speaking about self love, the art of carrying all the love you give and giving it to yourself.
In the end, the song preaches to protect yourself, stay true to yourself in your journey for survival, fame and success, expressing that desperation of running out of time to do great things and trying to stay in one piece.
Produced by the FADE THE VENOM, “Lagos” is a track of quietness that pulls you in, inviting you to share in its world and depth. It's a beautiful experience that would have you thinking deeply beyond the usual listen, yet enjoying it all the way.
Soon to be out on all streaming platforms, watch out for “Lagos”, it's something special
